This page explains how Zilroo sends optional marketing and promotional messages. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Service-related emails (such as account security, quotes, or waitlist confirmations) are separate and are not covered here.

1. What are marketing emails?

Marketing emails are messages we send only when you have chosen to receive them. They may include:

Special offers, promotions, or launch announcements
Tips for getting more value from Zilroo
Product news and feature updates
Invitations to surveys or feedback programmes
Content we think may interest you based on your parish, category, or role on the platform

We do not sell your email address to third parties for their own marketing.

2. What is not marketing?

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still email you when necessary to run the service, for example:

Account verification, password reset, or security alerts
Quotes, hires, messages, and job updates on the platform
Waitlist or coming-soon confirmations when you join our early-access list
Legal or policy notices when required

3. How to opt in

We only send marketing emails if you have given clear consent, such as by:

Checking an optional box such as "Receive marketing emails with special offers" on signup, the waitlist, or similar forms
Turning on "Marketing emails and updates" in your account Settings (customers) or pro settings (professionals)

Unchecking the box or leaving it off means you will not receive marketing messages from us.

4. How to opt out

You can stop marketing emails at any time by:

Using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send
Disabling marketing notifications in your Zilroo account settings
Emailing us at support@zilroo.com with the address you want removed

We will process opt-out requests as soon as reasonably possible. You may still receive non-marketing service emails after opting out.

5. Your information

We use your email address and, where relevant, profile or waitlist details (such as parish or service category) to personalise marketing in a reasonable way. How we collect, store, and protect personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes

We may update this page from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued receipt of marketing emails after notice may constitute acceptance where permitted by law, unless you opt out.
